GB Grid Ref Worker is a Mapping / GPS app aimed at Professionals, including those in the Construction Industry.

The app allows the user to pinpoint their GB National Grid reference. This "Grid Ref" can then be transmitted via Email, Tweet (iOS only) or SMS Messaging.

The app also tracks the current Latitude and Longitude of the device, in both OSGB36 and WGS 84 forms.

An accurate compass bearing is also provided by the device.

Professional features...

The user can choose to send a Photograph (new or existing) with the Email data.

The Subject and Header of the Email message can also be customised, and saved as a template for future use.

These professional use features set it aside from the general purpose "GB Grid Ref Compass" app.

The feature set of the app was planned following feedback from Building / Construction Industry workers.
