I worked for Direct Food Ingredients Limited in Macclesfield from August 2002 until November 2005. I was initially employed as a contractor to write 2 websites, and ended up employed full-time as the dedicated in-house Web Developer, Programmer and IT Support administrator.

As well as websites, I also wrote a Contact Management System in Visual Basic, which is still used by all of the staff. This system allows notes, invoices and product quotes to be stored against company records, and interacts with Microsoft Office for the generation of office paper work.

I created the main DFI website, and several product and industry themed sites, using ASP (VBScript) and MS Access. The main site is product driven from a database, and features a login / members area.

The smaller "product themed" sites include Mr Bait, a fish bait information site, and Champex™, a Mushroom Extract product site.

Direct Food Ingredients also have a sister company, Unique Nutrition Limited, for which I also developed websites.
